…the Bible is the revealed written word of God and as such is our supreme and final authority in matters of what we believe and how we are to live.

…in one God, revealed in the Scriptures as three distinct co-equal and co-eternal persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. 

…in salvation, as revealed in the Scriptures solely through Jesus Christ, who is God revealed in full humanity.  We believe that Jesus did what we could not do for ourselves, namely live a perfect life as Adam, the first human, was intended to live.  We further believe that Jesus’ death on the cross provided a satisfactory sacrifice for the sins of the whole world and that he defeated the power of sin and death when he physically rose from the grave three days later.  Jesus has ascended to heaven with the Father from where he will someday return in glory and reset this world as a new heaven and a new earth.  We further affirm that we are “born again” when we believe and we receive the Holy Spirit who is a down payment and God’s pledge to us for eternal life.

…in the universal Church that is made up of true believers around the world.  We celebrate our brotherhood and unity with them through meaningful association in local and world-wide mission.

…that the mission of God is revealed in Scripture: “God has now revealed to us his mysterious will regarding Christ—which is to fulfill his own good plan. And this is the plan: At the right time he will bring everything together under the authority of Christ—everything in heaven and on earth.” (Eph. 1:9-10, NLT). Our mandate is to be agents of God’s now and coming Kingdom in our world through proclaiming Jesus and his teachings through word and deed.
