The America for Christ Offering makes life-changing impact through ministries and resources that vitalize our communities and congregations across the United States and Puerto Rico with the hope of Jesus Christ. The outreach ministry of FBC Galesburg has directly benefited from this offering.

One Great Hour of Sharing
OGHS makes the love of Christ real for individuals and communities around the world who suffer the effects of disaster, conflict, poverty or severe economic hardship, and for those who find themselves refugees or displaced within their home country.

Through International Ministries, individuals and congregations come together for a time of awareness, advocacy, and action for global mission. Thousands across the country celebrate and support the ministries that God is using to transform the world.

Retired Ministers and Missionaries Offering
The Retired Ministers and Missionaries Offering (RMMO) originated in the mid-1930s, when American Baptist congregations received a Communion Fellowship Offering on the first Sunday of each month to support retired ministers, missionaries, their widowed spouses and elderly clergy within their churches. In 1977, American Baptist Churches USA launched RMMO to continue this appreciation of God’s service.
